I spend the majority of my time in South Florida. But, I have a second home, in the woods of Virginia, surrounded by nothing but trees. With winter approaching, the weather had been very mild, still in the 50s and 60s. So, I got the bright idea to spend Christmas there, and get some, much needed, work done. Of course, the night I arrived, the temperature dropped to 24 degrees and has, barely, touched 45 since. And, today's weather forecast includes snow. Perfect timing! Anyway, the bottom line is, I really had no clothing, to match the conditions, and have been building a winter wardrobe, to keep here. Therefore, when I got the opportunity, to get a pair of these SYMMAR v-neck pullover pajamas, I moved quickly. I will begin, by saying that they are advertised as being luxurious, comfortable, stylish, elegant, and resilient. I am forced to agree, with all of that. They are made from something called micromodal fabric. My research (I just had to know) showed that micromodal is a specialized type of modal rayon that is prized for its incredible softness and resistance to shrinkage. In addition to those descriptors, they really are ultra soft, lightweight, breathable, and super comfortable. And, back to the research, the coolest part of all is that micromodal fabric is made from beech tree pulp, a renewable resource similar to bamboo. Lastly, these are machine washable, in cold water, and on the gentle cycle. So far, they have not been hurt by me using a normal dryer cycle. They have kept me warm and, with the proper care, should last a very long time.
